This Week's 90 Minute BlockLocation- Grade Level Chair's Classroom; Kindergarten (in main office conference room or work room- your choice) Reading & Math planning & internalization- As a grade level work together to gain clarity on the logic of the lesson, establish priorities for instruction, and think through student needs. 30 minutes on ELA and 30 minutes on Math. Grade level chairs will be facilitating. Coaches will be supporting as needed. 4 H Club Visit Parkside Monday 12/2On Monday, December 2, 2019 the 4 H Club will volunteer and visit Parkside between 9:00-11:00. The 4 H volunteers will conduct agriculture awareness activities in ALL 4th and 5th grade classes, help with winter holiday costume preparation and volunteer to read, work with students and/or support instruction in K-3 classes. Please welcome the high school 4 H students from around the US with open arms into your classroom. Inclusive Week 12/2-12/6 |

- Learning target sheets for the standards covered
- Math lesson plans for week of 11/11 and all resources for the lesson plan. Assessments, fluency drills, exit tickets, exemplars, manipulates (some for showing examples)

Read to Succeed
I am your Six Flags Read to Succeed Coordinator!!
The Six Flags Read to Succeed Program is now accepting registrations for the 2019-2020 school year. If you participated last year, your online account is still active. You can login and confirm your information is correct and make any updates if needed.
If you are new to the program, register today!
It takes less than five minutes to register! You have until April 17th, 2020 to enter all participating student names. If you participated last year your online account is still active, so all you need to do is sign up your class.
A few quick facts about registration:
- Time Requirement: 5 minutes for initial registration
- Browser Compatibility: Updated to work with all browsers!
- Deadline: Deadline to enter students is April 17,2020
- Cost to Participate: Free
- NEW THIS YEAR - eReading Logs! - They have upgrade the program so that parents can log their children's reading time into an online log directly into the website. You will be able to review & approve the eReading logs submitted by the parents.
- I have printed out Reading Logs for each teacher that was here last year. There is a special code for you that your parents are to use to record their child's reading log.
I have already registered all teachers that participated in the program at Parkside last year "ONLY" but you will need to confirm your current class list/correct number of students in your classroom as well as register yourself and students if you were not assigned to Parkside last year.
The information/student logs needed for your students to participate in the Six Flags Read to Succeed Program are all online.Please click on the link below to confirm your registration the 2019-2020 school year. Through this program, students that read six (6) or more hours will earn a free ticket to Six Flags over Georgia!!
