TAB's Gifted Screening Portal Now Open
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pySB2aFXgw0WCrE5amzi01WsjonKI9FT/view
You must log into the APS TABs portal with your “@atlanta.k12.ga.us” email address and use the password “123456” only. Further instructions for completion (beyond what is covered in the video) are found in the portal after login.
The TABs portal link is here: https://eus.knack.com/apsgatetestingportal#home/
If you have trouble logging in, be sure that you have only used your “@atlanta.k12.ga.us” login and 123456 as a password. If that login is not accepted, there is a heading at the bottom that reads “Need an Account?” and a “Sign Up” button to click and report the login issue.
If you have data entry questions along the way, please email your school’s gifted contact teacher. Thank you for your time and your kind attention to this vital input from all teachers.

Useful Math Resources
If you’re providing your students with opportunities to explore fun and educational math websites, please check out the list of useful ones that I’ve compiled. Included within the document are links and a short description of each math website. These websites may provide standards-based math curricula, practice activities and games, assessment tools and instructive insights.
This document has been uploaded to the Google Drive under the Parkside’s Math 2019-2020 folder. I would like for the list to remain as a “live document” just in case anyone else would like to add sites.
So, good luck and let me know if you have any other questions, comments, or concerns.
Alphabet Series Readers
I delivered 2 sets of the Alphabet Series Readers to each of your classes. The corresponding titles for each phonics lesson is located on the Parkside 2019-20 Phonics Scope and Sequence. The Alphabet Series Readers are NOT to used as Guided Reading text, but as fluency practice on the targeted skill(s) during word work stations and phonics instruction.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give me a call, email, or stop by the office. Thank you for ALL you do and have a wonderful day!
2nd Grade Teachers- Write Score Resources
I just wanted to inform you that your grade level has access to Write Score Writing Resources and the 2nd grade students will take a Write Score Assessment in the Spring of 2020. As you begin planning for writing instruction, please begin using these materials with your students. If you need assistance with accessing these resources, please don't hesitate to ask! Thank you and have an amazing day!
