Computer RefreshThe Information Technology Department is conducting a laptop refresh of teacher & school administrator devices. Teachers and administrators with older model HP laptops and Lenovo ThinkPad L540 & L450s will be refreshed with a new Lenovo ThinkPad L380 laptop. You have been identified as a possible candidate for this refresh. The IT department, in coordination with our IT Hardware vendor (Prosys) will be at the Jackson High School Gym on March 11th and 12th. If you have received this email, and already have a newer model laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad L460, L470 or L480), please opt out of the refresh by emailing the IT Hardware Asset Management Team at [email protected] and letting us know you already have a current model laptop. The new laptop provided will be a Lenovo ThinkPad L380 laptop, similar to the other newer laptops (L460, L470 & L480) being provided. Some key differences are the silver color and the absence of an Ethernet/network port and VGA port (this functionality will be provided by using external cables/dongles, which will be provided along with the laptop).
